The role of Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data to support decision-making across the organisation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and skilled at using data visualisation tools to communicate insights effectively. This position plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable strategies, driving the company’s growth and operational excellence.
Data Collection & Management:
Gather data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
Organise and maintain databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support business objectives.
Interpret data findings to create actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Reporting & Visualisation:
Develop clear, visually engaging dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Excel.
Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Cross-functional:
Working and collaborating closely with other departments and projects as needed to ensure all tasks are delivered efficiently and effectively, enhancing overall productivity and project success.
Partner with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and system optimisation.
Quality Assurance:
Perform regular data audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across systems.
Troubleshoot data discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Market & Performance Insights:
Analyse business and market trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Data-Driven Business Solutions and System Development
Propose business idea based on gathered data information
Assist in developing a database for mass data inputs to build a central analytics system / repairing tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a data analysis or related role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. SQL).
Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI, Excel, Google Looker Studio or similar software.
Strong understanding of database management and statistical analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of machine learning or predictive analytics is a plus.
