Job Summary:

Are you a recent IT graduate excited to kick-start your career by working closely with project teams to ensure smooth digital operations? Join our team at Talentbank Group as a Junior IT Operations Associate! In this role, you'll play a vital part in collaborating with project teams to manage various digital aspects that drive our business operations.


Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  1. Resources Management: Assist in the administration and maintenance of IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
  2. Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and answering IT-related queries.
  3. Software and Hardware Management: Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and hardware devices. Perform software updates, patches, and upgrades as needed to ensure system stability and security.
  4. Software Compliance for Project Support: Ensure software used by project teams complies with licenses and standards, aligning with project goals. Regularly audit software to confirm it meets project needs, enhancing team efficiency and project success.
  5. Project Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project teams to enhance digital workflows and optimise content across platforms like HubSpot, WordPress, and SwipePages. This task involves managing the technical flow of projects and integrating IT solutions that improve operational efficiency and contribute to the success of project initiatives, ensuring engaging and effective digital experiences. Regular communication with stakeholders helps align IT capabilities with project goals and timelines.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Generate reports on IT-related metrics, trends, and performance indicators for management review.
  7. User Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT systems, applications, and best practices to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  8. Quality Assurance: Assist in domain registration and configurations, ensuring a strong online presence and aligned brand identity. Support mobile optimisation efforts, contributing to a seamless user experience across devices during project rollouts. 
  9. Communication Channel Support: Contribute to email workspace management, helping streamline communication tools for enhanced team productivity during project lifecycles.
  10. Cross-functional: Working and collaborating closely with other departments and projects as needed to ensure all tasks are delivered efficiently and effectively, enhancing overall productivity and project success.

Daily Operations:

  1. Monitor and maintain system performance, including servers and networks, to ensure smooth daily operations.
  2. Provide timely technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  3. Perform routine checks on hardware to ensure optimal functionality and security.
  4. Support project teams by managing and updating digital platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, and SwipePages.
  5. Ensure all web content is mobile-optimised, responsive, and aligned with UI/UX best practices.
  6. Manage communication tools like email workspaces and assist with access issues or configuration needs.
  7. Document all IT activities, updates, and issue resolutions while collaborating with teams to align technical tasks with project goals.

Skills Required:

  1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, allowing you to make impactful website modifications to support project goals.
  2. Well understanding of UI/UX design principles, enabling collaboration with project teams for user-friendly digital experiences.
  3. Familiarity with mobile optimisation techniques to ensure responsive design during project phases.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills to assist in troubleshooting technical issues related to server management and domains.
  5. An eagerness to learn and contribute to the implementation of new software solutions that align with project requirements.
