Overview

The Lead Generation Specialist performs activities focused on identifying and nurturing potential customers or leads for a business. The primary goal is to create a pipeline of qualified leads that can be passed on to the sales team for further engagement. The Lead Generation Specialist plays a crucial role in the sales and marketing process, acting as the bridge between marketing efforts and the sales team. Effective communication, strategic thinking, and a keen understanding of the target audience are key skills for success in this role.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential markets, industries, and customer segments. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay informed.
  • Lead Identification: Use various channels such as online research, social media, and industry databases to identify potential leads.
  • Data Management: Build and maintain a database of potential leads. Ensure data accuracy and update lead information regularly.
  • Outreach and Prospecting: Utilize email, phone calls, social media, and other communication channels to reach out to potential leads.
  • Qualification: Assess the suitability of leads based on predetermined criteria.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and criteria for qualified leads. Regularly communicate with sales teams to provide updates on lead progress
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyze lead generation metrics and KPIs. Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns.
  • Technology Utilization: Use CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools to manage and track leads.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends
    in lead generation. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any Business course, or related field. (Relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a formal degree including those qualified in Project Management - PMP).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in project planning and management or similar roles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
